August 2nd - 4th, 52nd Annual Crested Butte Arts Festival at Elk Avenue. Enjoy 130 fine art exhibitors in 13 mediums, live entertainment, a beer and wine garden, an art auction, and a kids' craft tent on Elk Avenue!

August 2nd, FREE MOVIE: Madagascar at Majestic Theater at 4:30 and 7:30

August 2nd, MTCB Annual Town Picnic at Ted Scheske Park from 5:00 - 7:00. Enjoy a family-friendly picnic and meet your neighbors!

August 3rd, Mountain Runners Trail Run at 8:30 AM. Explore new trails and meet new running friends most Saturdays all month. Click here for the schedule.

August 3rd, Summer Songwriting Shindig at Crested Butte Library from 2:00 - 3:00

August 3rd, Summer Classics: Cosí Fan Tutte at Center for the Arts. A classic dramatic soap opera written in the 1700s.

August 10th, MTCB Pickin' A Food Truck Competition & Festival at Snowmass Parking Lot from 11:00 - 5:00

August 15th, Crested Butte Library Wine Tasting at Queen of All Saints Parish Hall from 6:00 - 8:00. Learn and enjoy wines of Austria, always a fun event that sells out!

August 16th - 18th, Outerbike Crested Butte at CBMR Experience 3 days of mountain biking bliss at Mt. Crested Butte: test the latest bikes on classic rides or enjoy new base area trails.

August 16th, Town of Crested Butte Block Party at 7th Street and Belleview from 3:00 - 5:00

August 21st, Here for Good: A Community Celebration at Center for the Arts from 3:30 - 6:00 Connect and celebrate with all our amazing, non-profits that help make Crested Butte the amazing community it is.

New listings are up by 8%, while under-contracts are up 12%. Months supply of inventory is at 8 for Crested Butte and 10 for Mt.
