After a cold January, February has been gorgeous and warm! We are hoping for some new snow, but with 132 inches to date, the skiing has been fabulous. February has many great events, live music, and plenty of ways to enjoy the season. Plus, we’re sharing the latest on Crested Butte’s real estate market. Here’s what’s coming up!

February Happenings
February 3rd, Monday Mornings at Crested Butte Museum from 10:00 -11:00. Recurring every Monday throughout the month.
February 5th and 13th, Learn to Skate for Free at Crested Butte Nordic. Learn to Skate Ski free lessons return, offering expert instruction to help participants enjoy Nordic skiing on February 5th at 10:30 and February 13th at noon.
February 5th, Compass Navigation Committee Meeting at Center for the Arts from 8:30 - 1:00. The Compass Navigation Committee brings together advisory groups from key town plans to coordinate efforts and goals.
February 6th - March 7th, A Sense of Being Exhibition at Center for the Arts.
February 8th, 43rd Annual Wall to Wall Fundraiser – Ski Patrol Party at Center for the Arts from 7:00 - 11:00 PM. Join the Crested Butte Ski Patrol for the 43rd Annual Wall to Wall Fundraiser, featuring live music from Boot Juice, and supporting community members in need!
February 9th, Show Love for Your Clothes at CB Visitors Center from 4:00 - 6:00. Learn to patch textiles two ways!
February 12th, Stargazing Tour: Full Snow Moon on Kebler Pass. New this year at Crested Butte Nordic from 6:00 - 8:30.
February 13th, Full Moon History Yurt Dinner at Magic Meadows Yurt from 6:00 - 9:00
February 14th, Toast Your Hot Toddy: A Valentine’s Day Warm-Up by the Fire at Center for the Arts from 5:00 - 7:00
February 15th, Beer Dinner. Grab friends and enjoy a monthly beer dinner at Bruhaus from 5:30 - 8:00.
February 17th - 20th, Kissidugu Kids Camp at Center for the Arts from 12:00 - 3:30. Give kids ages 8-12 a creative February break with an afternoon cultural arts camp exploring storytelling through music, dance, and theater.
February 18th, Après Jazz: Gypsy Jazz Social Club at Center for the Arts from 5:00 - 6:30.
February 20th - 22nd, Move the Butte at Center for the Arts. Move the Butte is a community dance production showcasing diverse styles performed by over 140 local adults from the Gunnison Valley. Not to be missed, it’s a locals favorite!
February 20th, History Pub Crawl from 5:00 - 7:00. Join the museum for a history-infused pub crawl, visiting Kochevars, The Eldo, and Anthracite Spirits.
February 22nd, Gothic Mountain Tour at Crested Butte Nordic. The Gothic Mountain Tour offers a stunning 23.5-mile competitive race and a 17.85-mile recreational race around Gothic Mountain
February 27th, Cookbook Club: My America at Center for the Arts from 6:00 - 8:00. A fun and new way to meet friends and enjoy wine/food.

Market Conditions
Both new listings and under-contracts are down by 19% and 24%, respectively. Months supply of inventory is at 4 for Crested Butte and 8 for Mt.
