March in Crested Butte
March is here and Crested Butte is buzzing with loads of fun activities and live music! With 213 inches of snow this season, it’s the perfect time for some amazing spring skiing. Let’s make the most of this fantastic month in our majestic town!
March Happenings:
March 2nd, Bunny Planters: Clay Workshop at Abra Karbin Ceramics from 12:00 – 3:00
March 2nd, Kissidugu Liberté Performance at Center for the Arts from 4:00 and 7:00
March 2nd, Crested Butte Race Series at CBMR
March 3rd, Yurt Sunday Brunch at Magic Meadows Yurt from 10:00 – 2:00. A local’s favorite bistro serving organic and gluten-free pastries, treats, coffee, and more!
March 5th, Trivia Tuesdays at the Museum at Crested Butte Museum from 5:30 – 7:00 (Recurring every Tuesday of the month)
March 6th, Elk Ave History Walking Tours at Crested Butte Museum from 2:00 – 3:30 (Recurring every Wednesday of the month)
March 8th, Once When I Was You Opening Reception at Center for the Arts from 5:00 – 7:00
March 8th, The Women’s Adventure Film Tour 2024 at Majestic Theatre from 7:30 – 9:30 PM

March 17th, Al Johnson Uphill/Downhill Telemark Race at CBMR. This is a fun event for both racers and spectators.

March 24th, Move the Butte Viewing Party at Majestic Theatre. If you missed Move the Butte, now’s the chance to see it on the big screen.
March 25th, Opera Colorado: Cinderella at Center for the Arts from 7:00 – 8:00
March 29th – 30th, KBUT’s Disco Inferno at Center for the Arts. This dance party is a local favorite, not to be missed!
March 30th – 31st, The Grand Traverse, an epic race from Mt. Crested Butte to Aspen

Market Conditions
Both new listings and under-contracts are up by 43% and 56%, respectively. Months supply of inventory is at 7 for Crested Butte and 9 for Mt. Crested Butte (if no new homes came on the market, in 7 or 9 months, inventory would be at zero).
