This local favorite is a can't-miss event. Picture yourself sipping on cold craft beer and sampling spicy, creative chili recipes while a bluegrass band plays in the background. The Crested Butte Film Festival is one of the most anticipated weekends in town, featuring a curated lineup of powerful, thought-provoking films from around the world. It’s a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community, all set in our beautiful mountain backdrop. Screenings take place in intimate local venues, and you’ll have the chance to join filmmaker Q&As and soak up the energy that fills Elk Avenue.

Drive up Ohio Pass to see “The Castles,” a wild rock formation that looks like it’s straight out of a fantasy novel. Washington Gulch delivers sweeping valley views you won’t forget.
