Crested Butte & Mt. Crested Butte First Quarter Market Report 2026

Single-family homes saw a decrease in the number of sales, while pricing moved higher across both average sales price and sold price per square foot. Homes are taking slightly longer to sell, and inventory has increased, giving buyers more room to be selective.

The condo and townhome market showed strong momentum this quarter, with a noticeable increase in sales and overall volume. While average price and sold price per square foot dipped slightly, homes are selling faster, indicating continued demand in this segment.

Land experienced a slowdown, with fewer sales and declines in both pricing and total volume. That said, days on market dropped significantly, suggesting that the buyers who are active in this segment are making quicker decisions.

Luxury properties remained steady in terms of the number of sales, with an increase in both average sales price and total volume. However, homes are taking longer to sell, reflecting a more patient and selective high-end buyer.
