The second quarter of 2024 flew by, bringing some interesting shifts to Gunnison’s real estate market. We noticed a dip in sales volume: single-family homes by 147%, condos and townhomes by 11%, and land by 23%. However, this isn’t all bad news. Despite fewer sales, the price per square foot for single-family homes jumped by 19%, and condos and townhomes saw a slight increase of 1%. This shows that while there are fewer transactions, property values are holding strong and even rising.
