Market Conditions
April brought a noticeable shift in the Crested Butte market, with stronger pricing but more inventory coming into play.
For single-family homes, both new listings and sales rose compared to last year. Prices jumped, influenced by a few higher-end sales, while homes sold faster on average. At the same time, inventory and months of supply increased, giving buyers more options.
Condos and townhomes showed a softer month, with fewer new listings and sales, but year-to-date activity is still ahead of last year. Prices climbed significantly due to more luxury condo sales. However, homes are taking longer to sell, and inventory is building, pointing to a more balanced market with increased buyer leverage.
